I wrote a blog post last Sunday about my struggle trying to start painting again this fall. Firsst I had guests over the Labor Day weekend, and last week, non of the materials I ordered fit.
The good news is that I don’t give up easily, and I am determined to develop a new routine. I got my butt to the UPS store on Monday and returned the materials to Dick Blick. On Thursday, I called Soho Art Materials and ordered the 2 bars to finish one piece and the cross braces. I think Soho has the best most professional materials.
I hope they get here this week. I could not paint today due to a family birthday, so I am focused on getting through the week and painting Sunday. I will let you know what happens. You are helping me stay focused on getting through the technical difficulties and my emotional blocks.
