A Cool DIY Project and Some Web Design Stuff

It has been vitually impossible to set a routine and stick to it.

Money has been unbearably tight and J has been home quite a bit, so I have not been getting up at 5 am every day to paint. No money to purchase new canvas or supplies and when I do feel motivated, J is here during the day to watch the little one. The lack of routine and money is just soooo frustrating.

But I have done 2 cool things this weekend. I made a nifty DIY set of magnets that I got from How About Orange.

Sending a bunch to good friend who will love them.

Here are images of the work in progress.

We are going to the post office today to mail them.

The process was easy. Just separate the chips. When you don’t separate them, they get wrinkled. I tried. Put the modge podge on, and let dry. However, watch for air bubbles. I used foam core with a glue side I got at Staples. And I used magnet tape with a glue side, so it was easy to add the magnets to the back. If I were to do it again, I would allot myself more time to be neater. Jessica’s are great. Thank you for the fabulous idea.

I also updated my friend’s website. Just added a book page and some new work. The design is simple, clean and classic. Hope you like it.
